Top_Ballet_Logo_onLtGray2Magnify Dance Center shares its Artistic Director Wendy Miner with The Performers Ballet & Jazz Company, a pre-professional training company for dedicated young dancers. The Performers are best known for their quality production, Christmas Joy, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2014. In 2014, The Performers debuted their newest full-length ballet, How Love Wins, conceived and choreographed by Wendy Miner.

The Performers Ballet & Jazz Company has open auditions annually in late spring/early summer.

2017-2018 Auditions will take place at Magnify Dance Center on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Our 2017-2018 season will feature our two season favorites, Christmas Joy and How Love Wins as well as a series of master classes with guest instructors.

Dancers ages 6-9: 1:00-2:00pm
Dancers ages 10-12: 2:15-3:45pm
Dancers ages 13-17: 4:00-5:45pm

Please arrive by 15 minutes early to register. Parents should plan to stay for an informational meeting during the audition, which will cover requirements of company membership.

Female dancers should wear a black leotard, pink tights, ballet shoes and pointe shoes, if applicable. Male dancers should wear a white t-shirt, black tights or pants and ballet shoes.

Any dancers who are not currently Performers members must bring a photo in first arabesque and a one-page resume (one-side only, no folders or covers, please) listing dance and academic experience/accomplishments.

Audition fee is $10 for prospective dancers who are not currently Performers members
